| Torre de Moncorvo
Ascribed to the “lord” of Mendo Curvo or Mendo do Corvo, this parish located next to the neighbour Reboredo Mountain (900 m) has a strategic position that is reflected in its vast heritage: castles, manor houses, churches, bridges, together with «castros» and Roman remains. Torre de Moncorvo has also one of the biggest iron deposits in Europe and the biggest Monther Church of the entire Trás-os-Montes Region. It is also worth mentioning red clay pottery and wool carpets, as well as the sweet, where the covered almond is queen. |
